Join us for a sommelier-led wine tasting class, try different wines from the beautiful state of Washington, and learn about the crucial work we do here in NYC to support vulnerable New Yorkers. You’ll hear from our staff about the clients we serve and pivotal wins we’ve had in the past year to protect domestic violence survivors who were trapped at home with their abusers during the height of the pandemic; immigrant street vendors working to feed hungry New Yorkers (and their own families); homeless people who were at the brink of being evicted from safe housing that could protect them against COVID-19; and formerly incarcerated people looking for assistance reintegrating into the world. 

All wine kits will come with 6 different wine samples so you can taste the variety and breadth of Washington wines and will be mailed to you prior to the event.

Tucked between the mountain ranges just outside of Seattle, Washington state is filled with beautiful vineyards that produce a range of delicious wines. In fact, it’s our nation’s second-highest wine-producing state. Our wine tasting will lead you through a range of 6 different wines (reds, whites, and rosés) to show the beauty that Washington state wines have to offer. From a bold and full-bodied Merlot to light and citrusy Pinot Gris, this tasting has it all.
