Join Our Young Professional Board
Interested in doing more for your community & learning more about philanthropy? Want to fuel social change? Our Young Professional Board (YPB) meets monthly, and is a group of passionate individuals that enable us to provide life-saving services to some of New York City’s most vulnerable and exploited populations by shaping UJC from the inside. It’s also a fun way to network, and meet other New York City residents who care about social justice. Join our community of changemakers!

If you are looking for a more casual way to stay involved with our work, please consider signing up for our Justice Initiators (JI). The JI meet the third week every month for exclusive, behind-the-scenes chats with our social justice leaders. Justice Initiators are given special consideration for our YPB based on their expressed commitment to and interest in the UJC.
YPB REQUIREMENTS
• Be an ambassador of the Urban Justice Center. Share stories of the amazing work that happens here on social media and amongst your friends. Help us get the word out!
• Attend monthly YPB meetings, featuring exclusive Q&As with UJC staff to learn the ins and outs of our work
• Plan fundraisers or other activities to further UJC’s name recognition
• Each member of the YPB will strive to give or get $500 (through their own donations or solicitations of other donors)
• Volunteer opportunistically for UJC and our projects
JI REQUIREMENTS

• Access to monthly exclusive Q&As with UJC staff to learn the ins and outs of our work
• Contribute suggested monthly dues of $25/month
