Please join the Treatment Not Jail coalition on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at our May Advocacy Day as we make a full court press to get TNJ PASSED THIS SESSION. We will host a rally, hold meetings with elected officials, mobilize our champions, and more.
Through an expansion and modernization of already established treatment courts, the TNJ Act (S.1976B-Ramos / A.1263B-Forrest) will provide meaningful off-ramps from the revolving door of incarceration for thousands of individuals in the criminal legal system that suffer from underlying mental health and substance use issues.
Meals and transportation will be provided.
