#StayHome – Save Lives2020-06-23T17:21:24+00:00

You may have noticed the new “roof” that we’ve added to our usual Urban Justice Center logo. This is to signify that we’ve joined Google, the Ad Council, and major organizations all around the country in promoting the #StayHome – Stay Safe campaign. The roof reminds all of us that staying inside is the best way to keep ourselves, and everyone around us, safe.

We at the UJC know that far too many people cannot shelter safely at home. For those living on the streets, or with their abusers, home can be a dangerous – or non-existent – place.

We urge everyone who can stay at home to do so for those who can’t.

The health and wellbeing of our staff and clients is of the utmost importance. While we deal with the effects of the coronavirus, our office will be closed. Our staff continues to work to serve our clients and communities, and can be contacted by email. Find out more information (including how to make face masks) here. Ok
