Through the Social Justice Accelerator, the UJC promotes the leaders of tomorrow, helping them leapfrog over the difficult early stages of nonprofit formation and go directly to making a better future.

The 2022 cohort of our Social Justice Accelerator is comprised of:

Family Justice Law Center

Challenging systemic abuses of government power that lead to the illegal separation of children from their families.

Family Policy Project

Developing research-driven transformative policy solutions for NYC families.

Peer Defense Project

Supporting youth leaders to build power and autonomy in schools, courts, and government.

The Remedy Project

Organizing students to serve as advocates for people incarcerated in the United States.

South Asian SOAR

Growing survivor and collective power to transform the culture and conditions that lead to violence.

The Urban Justice Center is a 501(c)(3) and your donation is fully tax-deductible.
