The New York Lawyers for the Public Interest presented its 2015 annual Felix A. Fishman awards to, from left, Jennifer Parish, director of criminal justice advocacy for the Urban Justice Center Mental Health Project “for her tireless dedication to the health and independence of all New Yorkers”; and to Dr. George Coritsidis, chief of nephrology at Elmhurst Hospital Center and Dr. Ellena Linden, attending nephrologist and director of the transplant clinic at Elmhurst Hospital for their “innovative leadership improving the health of New York’s immigrant communities.”
They are joined by McGregor Smyth, the executive director of NYLPI, at the group’s awards luncheon Thursday at the New York City Bar Association.
