We help to enforce hospital discharge planning laws by ensuring that patients who are being discharged from psychiatric units receive help applying for benefits, finding housing, and arranging aftercare services.

DISCHARGE PLANNING FROM NYC JAILS
(press "2")

We help to enforce the Brad H. settlement, which requires the City to assist consumers in applying for benefits and housing, arrange ongoing treatment, and provide medications and prescriptions upon discharge from NYC jails.

SOCIAL SECURITY/SSI
(press "3")

We provide representation before the Social Security Administration and in federal court in appealing denials, suspensions, reductions, terminations of benefits and overpayment claims.

UTILITY TURN-OFF/EVICTION PREVENTION
(press "4")

We help prevent utility turn-offs and eviction. We provide assistance with grant applications for rent and utility arrears, as well as representation in housing court.
